I think it's because it gets cold but theres no snow! You so need some snow to build snowmen and throw snowballs and such. I'm still crossing my fingers for such a snow here. Last year there wasn't enough snow in city for it. But we did go up to the mountains and I threw a couple snowballs :oD. You need that playful energy :o).
