I'm only sick so rarely, and days like this when I'm sniffly and achey and disgustingly weak do I truly appreciate the 360 days of the year that I'm healthy. But I'm well taken care of, my whims appeased, and I have the license to be spoiled..more. :)
It might have been the "cold" weather that brought on this ickiness, might have been Black Friday, or our kayaking trip to Lake Lizzie, where I did enjoy myself despite the cold water and thoughts of aligators eating me whole. I really should get over my fear of death because I will die one day and that's an unavoidable fact. Michael has instilled in me the brevity and preciousness of our lives, but that doesn't keep me from whining. I'm learning though to be more grateful and enjoy what it is that I have.
I wish I could take pictures of my "angel" because I'm so giddy about it, but it doesn't come highly recommended. Oh, well.
Here's bird flu though, a random dove that became my friend for some half hour. It got to play with me in the pool, resting on my tummy, while I was on my floatie.

Someday I'll grow up and quit acting like a little kid, but prolly not anytime soon, if ever.
