work is kicking my ass but my spirit's up and it's been such good times
despite something really sad happening it's all good
life is short and special (like me!) enjoy it and love while you can.

i can't keep things a secret
and there's a wrapped gift under our fiber optic christmas tree
that i'm dying to know what's inside
but i have to be good and not peek

I've gotten better at keeping secrets as I got older. The anticipation will make the opening event at the right time more fun. Good luck with waiting to open up that wrapped gift under the fiber optic christmas tree.

I'm getting better at not telling as I get older. At this point, I really don't care much and feel kinda silly about the whole presents thing. Christmas day is our one year anniversary and we have to find a place to eat Indian food. He, unfortunately, saw what I got him for his birthday (27th) because of the dumb UPS guy. Shit.
