I've gotten back to my cooking. Last night I broiled some salmon with Asian seasoning, stir fried brocolli and corn. For dessert, Steve made for me peanut butter milkshake. Why have I never had this before?? It is so good, and I love peanut butter!! This is why today, I needed to work out more than normal, just to even things out. Any suggestion for music to excercise to is most welcome!! Ever since I started dating him, I've stopped eating healthy, drank more alcohol, and have basically quit being on the go. I dislike it, and so before I fall into the trap again, I gotta fight the fat lol. Some days I miss being single, but waking up next to him everyday and ending the night with him, is just too precious. We just gotta stop with movie nights every night and maybe do something active for a change.

The salmon and stir fry sounds yummy though, and healthy. I think I'm making something similar tonight :o). Already have the ingredients in the fridge.
Maybe there is a way to make the peanut butter smoothy healthier? Try natural peanut butter (ie just ground peanuts and salt, no corn syrup etc), 1% milk if it calls for milk, and say... a banana? I dunno.. I'm sure you can get your fix for less badness...

Date: 2008-07-29 01:03 pm (UTC)yeah, i need to get myself off the computer more and do active stuff but i have so much puter stuff to do it's kinda hard..so it's kinda nice that right next to his office, he's got a gym set up..of course i can't lift the weights he does, so i brought my own little weights and jump rope...it doesn't compare to just getting out there, and enjoying nature while getting some excercise...at least he's interested in kayaking now.. i wanna try and stay out of the bars on weekends lol and have some cheap but quality entertainment.. camping would be nice.
we had shrimp stir fry yesterday, and it was 160 cal per serving. of course it prolly didn't help we both had prolly two servings each, but hey still that's not that bad. oh wait, we had blue bell strawberry crunch for dessert. and fudge factor ice cream before going to bed. dammit!!
ohhh at least, we got bananas now... i just had one for breakfast.. i just need to learn some self control lol
